Mission Statement
The PERT Consortium®, in collaboration with leading experts, established the PE Center of Excellence Program to advance research-based best practices in pulmonary embolism (PE) management. As the accrediting body for quality PE care, we are dedicated to evaluating evidence-based practices, driving innovation through collaboration, and empowering healthcare professionals to enhance patient care and improve outcomes for all affected by PE.
Recognizing Excellence: Regional and Comprehensive Designations
We are establishing unprecedented standards for the management of pulmonary embolism through our rigorous accreditation criteria, which encompass the latest medical research, innovative treatment methodologies, and a steadfast commitment to patient-centered care. Our Regional and Comprehensive Centers of Excellence serve as the foundation of this initiative, ensuring that every accredited institution operates at the pinnacle of medical excellence.
Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and staffed by leading medical professionals, these centers uphold our highest standards of care. By fostering a nationwide network of excellence, we are making top-tier treatment accessible to all PE patients, transforming best possible outcomes from an aspiration into a reality.
