PRISM

Advancing the quality and effectiveness of pulmonary embolism care.

The PERT team model transformed emergency response to pulmonary embolism (PE). PRISM ensures that this excellence continues, connecting education, outreach, standards, data, and outcomes into one unified framework—a multidisciplinary approach that brings clarity and illuminates excellence in every facet of PE care. PRISM institutions receive certification as Centers of Excellence and have access to the PERC database, with associated fees waived through 2029.

Our mission is to advance the quality and effectiveness of pulmonary embolism care by integrating research, continuous improvement, and standardized practices that optimize outcomes for every patient.

vision

We envision a healthcare community where shared standards, collaborative learning, and real-world data drive the highest level of care for patients with pulmonary embolism worldwide.
