Hello PERT Trainees!
We are excited to continue the success of last year’s trainee program this year at the PERT 2019 Consortium Symposium! We will be hosting a trainee PE skills symposium on October 3rd from 8am-12pm, prior to the PERT Consortium Annual Meeting. This symposium will focus on hands on management of patients with acute pulmonary embolism and will be a great opportunity to network with both your peers and experts in the field.
Residents and fellows in training programs related to the care of patients with pulmonary embolism are encouraged to apply. If you are interested in participating please fill out the attached application by 5pm EST September 15th. Those selected to participate in this exciting course will receive free tuition to attend as well as free registration for the annual PERT Consortium CME meeting to follow.
In addition, the first 25 trainees will receive a $500 travel stipend and will be entered into a competition (based on applications below) for three $1500 stipends!

Simulation / Rotations
- Station 1: Point of care echocardiogram
- Station 2: Point of care duplex ultrasound and interpretation
- Station 3: ECMO for PE
- Station 4: Percutaneous interventions
- Station 5: Radiology interpretation (V/Qs and CTA)
