The PERT Consortium® is excited to announce that we will be hosting a Fellows Course during the 7th Annual Pulmonary Embolism Symposium. Please join us on Thursday, October 15th as we bring together fellows across the nation and top tier healthcare professionals from academic and community medical centers.
In 2019, the PERT Consortium® hosted the inaugural trainees bootcamp. Over 30 trainees from around the country participated in a half-day hands-on course focused on key skills and concepts necessary to providing high quality pulmonary embolism care. The knowledge and skills acquired at this year’s course will not only leave trainees well equipped to manage PE as residents and fellows at their
home programs, but will also contribute to their future careers as leaders in PE care.
Core lectures will take place Thursday morning followed by hands-on skills rotation stations and lunch. The course covers topics such as demographics of PE, risk stratification, treatment options, ICU care, and post-PE management.
